Does it drone? OK now no one read my post and ask the same question, even after it gets answered.

These mufflers will produce a mild interior sound level. Our three chamber mufflers feature internal resonance tuning chambers that have been designed to tune out the specific frequencies that create drone.

had those on an 89 the drone was very little had a nice tone to it
Did not have that "ringing" sound the early 2 chambers (I mean originals way back when) did
Unless youre lugging it in the drone zone oughta be fine. it was pretty minimal. About any aftermarket will drone some youre sitting right on top of the exhaust with the tips pretty close by

I believe the full exhaust Flowmaster system included a reasonator; I would seriously consider retaining the oem resonator, if so equipped, or adding an aftermarket / Flowmaster reasonator.

I had a Flowmaster exhaust system, sans reasonator and using their two chamber mufflers and I wouldn't wish that system on my worst enemy; your tastes may vary.

I just ordered a set of these yesterday for my '89 that I am restoring. Fingers crossed. When I told my mechanic I was thinking of putting these on he said "good choice! Those are awesome!". Once I get them installed I'll reply here to let folks know how they are. (IMHO).

These mufflers are a bit more expensive than our universal mufflers because they were designed specifically for the 1984-1990 C4 and are direct fit replacements of your factory mufflers. No additional modifications to your OEM system are required for installation. Simply unbolt your factory mufflers, bolt these on and go.
