Default 84 'vette Blue Module?

Does anyone know what this module is? I picked up an abandoned 84 'vette a couple weeks ago and found an after market Pro3000 alarm system installed. Found an owners manual on line but no installation manual. I was able to remove the brains by tracing each wire back and cutting / splicing everywhere it was connected but want to make sure I completely removed the system. I purchased a shop manual but no wiring diagram yet. This blue module is in the center dash. Does anyone know what it is? Thanks in advance.

That blue module is the "Buzzer Warning Unit" for the seat belt buzzer, the key-in alarm, and the lights-on alarm. Pg. 8A-58 in your '84 FSM.

My manual doesn't have a section 8A. The number on the front is ST-364-84.

Do I have an incomplete version?

I think that was the headlight buzzer for my 86? All I know if the buzzer got stuck on anytime the lights were on and I had the dash apart to bypass the vats anyway and I think that I unplugged that and it stopped.

Yes. There are two books for the FSM. The "Electrical Troubleshooting Shop Manual" number is ST-364-84 ETM. That's where you'll find section 8A. I use that manual more than I use the main manual!

Okay, thanks.

Guess I obviously need to get the electrical manual.
