Default help with a few questions

where can I look to find out what options my car came with, it is red with all red inside (seats ,carpets) That's a good place to start. by the way im a first time owner.

wow - first time poster, and he actually filled out his profile!

first of all, you need to list the year of your car. since your profile ID'd your corvette as an 85, the SPID (Service Parts IDentification) label, or as some call it, the RPO sticker, is in the LH storage compartment behind the drivers seat. there is a series of alpha/numeric codes, such as AG9, AU3, G92, UU8, Z51, etc..



you can get a list of all the option and build codes on-line. here's one list that pretty much covers the C4 models.

note: there is some controversy that E86 and L86, or coupes/convertibles may have it in one of the two shown locations. it might even be an iron head/aluminum head thing, build date, before/after January 1 - I don't know. either way and anyway, on the 86 model year, it might be safe to say, it can be in either location. most 86 owners indicate it's under the console lid, but a few owners have indicated the 84-85 location. just when you think you've got these things figured out, GM throws you a curve -
