Default ISO R12 A/C High Side Valve Core

Good Day All - looked high and low on the forums with no luck, so here I am...

ISO a high side Schrader valve for my 1991 ZR1, which still has the R12 system. Mine is leaking out, so need to replace it. Looking for possible sources where I can grab at least one. They are very hard to find these days.

And no, I'm not interested in converting to R134

Thanks!
Jason

A GM# 3041827 ACD 15-1119 won't do? That should be on everyone's shelf I'd think. (this is actually maybe only a low-side service Scrader) The first familiar number that came to mind.

Unfortunately, no. That looks like an R134 part. The part I need looks exactly like this one, ACD part #15-5375:

Better pic here:

Problem is, it doesn't show as being a part that fits my car, and I'm not sure how standard these valves are for GM vehicles. I'd like to think it's pretty standard, but I've learned the hard way too many times, especially with these ZR1s.

They are fairly standard and can be changed without loosening freon with the right tool.

I need to run for an appointment but your-first linked part should be a GM# 10027604 and has application way back into the mid-early 80's. It would or should be on many locals shelves. I understand the lack of applications but if you can remove yours then you visually confirm.

So you think the 15-5375 is likely the correct one? It looks identical to the one I have now.

Which valve tool have you guys found the best for swapping out new ones without losing Freon?

Thanks,
Jason

Can you double check that part #? It doesn't come up in any GM part database.

I'll check the local A/C shops for matching valves.

Changed it to 10027604 - was in a hurry to get out the door and fingers got fat! I generally proofread my posts - generally! I'd buy & try/compare. In '92 the part changed to an 8-sided component on most GMs -this I believe was the last used prior to that and the service parts.
