Default Banski Rear Suspension

Someone in the road race section mentioned Banski Motorsports was having a sale. Sure enough I look on the website and they have everything marked off 20%! Now would be a good time to buy in case anyone was on the fence, or looking to upgrade soon.

Just thought I would pass the word along.

Default Bye bye, $$$

I ordered up a full rear suspension. It was low down on my project's to-do list, but the price seemed right. Plus, Banski seems like a great company from the reviews and it has already shipped out. I'm pumped!

Thanks for the heads up.

Thanks for the heads up. I was planning on buying a set soon, but it looks like they may not make any more toe rods and are out of stock as of yesterday. They do appear to have trailing arms and camber rods still. I sent an email inquiring about a couple of things regardless.

I got a set back on the 7th, when I also told folks then. I figured that they were going to cut back on production when they were clearancing them out.

Banski had them up on eBay for the clearance price and got a lot of exposure that
way.

Of course if you look real close at the title you will realize I cannot spell.

I was planning on buying this kit to do over the winter, but it looks like they don't have the toe rod kit and don't plan on restocking them.

If you E-mail them about the toe rod kit, they will put you on a list. Hopefully enough people are interested and they make another batch.

I'll second their reputation for being a good company to deal with. No, make that a great company to deal with! Tom Urban there has been very responsive and helpful when I asked questions and needed a small spare item.

Also, the camber rods are probably the most important item for handling. They allow consistent and reliable rear camber settings in the negative range, which is a key to generating cornering forces on any radial tire. The trailing arms allow all kinds of adjustability that the stock arms don't (rear caster and total wheelbase in particular), although it's difficult to find technical info on how those adjustments would change performance. But in any case, even if you can't get the toe links, if you've thought about the other pieces now is the time.

They just put up a special order for toe rods, open until October 31st, at the recent sale price. There are some details on timing of delivery so make sure to read the details but they will be available.

Tom was awesome, i got the last toe rod kit he had in stock =) and I got the camber rods as well, fedex lost my package but they found it thankfully. I hate fedex, worst shipping company ever. I'm going to order the trailering rods soon too. Great guy and was very helpful.

Get the boots to go along with them!

I have had a great experience with Tom and the products, my Corvette now feels planted in the corners, especially when making fast lane changes since the toe rod installation.
I spoke to Tom and he was very nice to deal with!!!

Banski has great products and great customer service. I have the full rear suspension kit on my car plus the rear Banski pin top shock mounts and it really works well! Way easier align + more adjustment, better handling and smoother ride. You won't regret buying the Banski parts!

Are these parts going out of production? It seems that this batch of toe rods will be the last. Are the other parts for the c4 also going out of production?

The site indicates part of them won't be restocked so why not ask them?

C4's aren't the largest of markets so it seems inevitable some things will cease to be carried. If you are interested, sounds like a good time to pull the trigger (I did).

I am thinking more about replacement parts in the future. If it's out of production then, well, you're out of luck if something breaks.

I also don't need it all so I am thinking about part of the set now and the rest next year. Just not sure if the rest will still be available by then.

Having some extra replacement parts is not a bad idea. However if you don't want to spend the money now for future replacement parts now, I wouldn't worry to much as replacement rods ends could be sourced elsewhere if banski doesn't sell them in the future.

Thanks for the heads up. Just ordered a set for my C4 55 Chevy that I didn't even need yet. Was worried they might end up obsolete like the stock ones. Near as I can tell they only have 4 sets left.

My kits have been through some abuse for 6+ years and never had an issue.
