Default Aux Fan sensor/Switch Issue

Greetings all - it's been a while!

1988 vette, aux fan switch/sensor (single wire) located between cyl; 1+3.

I had installed a low temp 185* aux fan switch in my vehicle which worked well - up until yesterday....I see many sensors on ebay, etc but, they are the higher temp switches (on at 2-something, off at 2-something)....

I know what I want/need and DO NOT wish to go that high in temps....
I also an NOT concerned with fan life, oil temps, etc....

The current (defective) sensor/coolant switch will activate aux fan at approx 185* - (when temp gets to that point switch/sensor is shorted to ground and fan comes on and, will only run when vehicle is ON....

The current/defective fan/coolant sensors' electrical connection of the car(1 wire) will NOT fit the connector of the sensors' connector and i am NOT concerned with that either as i can modify the cars' connector.

I have the numbers of the defective sensor/switch however, am currently unable to cross it to anything. Anyone ever swap out that sensor?

Thanks for the reply. Can you "pm" me with a pict and other cross reference numbers so that I can examine specs?
