Default C4 Emergency Brake inop

1990 ZR-1 Emergency brake started out hard to release now will not set (cannot pull up) Where can I get parts

Should lubed it when it started. I would still try first. Are you sure you know how to use it?

Depending on what broke there may not be parts, rather the expectation is to replace the unit as far as the FSM goes.

I had a handle failure in my 94, it was essentially due to wear on a metal rod from 20 years of use and the likely scenario that the button to release was being pressed in without first lifting upward. Not sure if that is your problem but my thread linked below goes through how I repaired it and details how to take the mechanism apart, which the FSM does not. I was able to repair mine by welding in the worn metal.
