I swear everything "needs" to be wired to the battery terminal
Has anyone ever felt like this is complete Bs? I swear every freaking thing "needs to be wired directly to the battery".
I'm no electrical genius but doesnt that defeat the purpose of a ground point or the point that feeds all the fusable links?
My battery is in the tub behind my passenger seat with a 2aug wire from my bat to a master cutoff switch. That feeds the starter with a 4 gauge along with an 8 gauge feeding my fusable links and my oil cooler. 2aug from negative of battery to one of the bolts on the bell housing.
Wiring up my Msd 6a and it says it needs to be direct to the battery.... it is a 10 gauge wire feeding the 6a. Why can't a 8 gauge feed it fine? I'm betting it will be more than fine.
