Brake or parking brake light? I've had the parking brake light flicker a time or two when it wasn't fully depressed.

Any codes present?

Check the E-brake handle ... push the button .

If I use the e-brake on my '85, it will do that until I get the handle back down just right. I just keep pushing the button while jiggling the handle and eventually it will go off and stay off.

I had to tweak the microswitch on the parking brake on mine after I got it. The light was on 'a lot' of the time. It is a copper arm so be gentle but with a little additional bend in it, it's off 'most' of the time when it should be off.

No year given, so does that light also indicate possible a/s problems?

It's not doing it anymore - must have been the E brake handle I guess - -thanks to all.
