Does anyone know if there is a company that makes raised white letter tires for a C4? Does anyone out there have them on their car and how do they look? I like the look on older Vettes, and was wondering how they might look on an '87.

I haven't seen them, but when I wanted the raised white letter look on my motorcycle I'd just go out and buy a 5$ paint pen and paint the lettering myself. Really easy to do. Check it out for yourself and see if you like it.

That's a good idea. I guess I could even try a water soluble paint to see if I like it first. Thanks for the advice.

Never seen them...I too am curious about how they would look. Don't let the naysayer get to you it's YOUR Vette do what you want to with it :D Post the results, I for one would like to see what it looks like

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Although I would'nt do that to a c4 it looks fine on some older corvettes. If you like it give it a try. I've seen worse cosmetics than that! :yesnod:

I've seen low profile 17s on a mustang with yellow tire paint filling in the brand name on the tire and it looked good. It was more of a highlight than anything, didn't have the same look as white letters all the way around the wheel since the brand name of the tire is usually only imprinted once on the sidewall.

I think it looks fine on C3's and other cars with higher aspect ratio tires, but not on a C4. JMHO :cheers:

Dude, it's going to look like hell. Raised white letters are for muscle cars, ie 60's and 70's cars. Try the paint pen trick, but buy some acetone while you're at it so you can remove the paint.
