Default HELP - 87 Corvette - New AC bracket, fuel lines in the way??

I have an 87 Corvette C4 Convertible. The AC bracket broke. I bought one from eBay and I'm trying to install it but the two fuel lines seem to be in the way. Any pictures or ideas? Do the fuel lines possibly run inside the bracket??

On mine which is 85 the lines run right thru the bracket but if you release the pressure from the Schrader valve and crack them loose I put mine back together no leaks.

w/ xrav22 - on my 85, the fuel lines go thru the bracket. fairly sure, with the exception of the compressor, all L98 compressor bracket and fuel line configurations are the same. as a side note, on my 85, I did mod the bracket to reverse mount the upper (compressor) mounting bolt. makes for an easy compressor installation and you don't have to screw around with the RH valve cover.

The compressor was changed to a Nippon Denso in 1988, so the bracket was changed to mount it.

In all cases the L98 fuel lines do go through the compressor bracket.
