Default Door Glass adjustment

Hi,

93 Convertible
I had all new weatherstrip put in (by a Corvette shop) and now wind noise. Sounds like from the windshield pillar area on both sides.

I can press on the rubber and it affects the amount of noise. Maybe the replacement rubber is just a little thinner than original(?).

So, is there an adjustment for how far up the glass goes before the motor shuts off. Trying to get the glass to press a little harder into the weatherstrip.

Any thoughts

Did the adjustment cure your problem?

Sort of. I didn't attempt the adjustment myself; rather I took back to the Corvette shop (I figured they know this stuff better than me) a couple of times. A combination of aftermarket weatherstrip and a myriad of adjustment opportunities makes for a tricky job.

It is now better than it was, but not like it was before I started on this journey. Good enough for a 25 yo convertible for me.

So on to the next project.

Where in the metroplex did you take it? I'm looking for a good Corvette shop.

Mid-Cities Classics in Hurst. Long-time friend owns it. Lots of Corvette and other 'classic' projects over there.
