Yes, lots of people do, it's a very common choice. It is usually pretty flexible, but not necessarily as flexible as the super flexible cables that car audio specific companies make. Like the Knu Kolosus Flex or Kicker Hyperflex (pretty much every brand has its version)

From all of the research that I did, I had a hard time finding welding cable that was more affordable than the knu wire.

Ok, the car audio shop sells the fosgate for 5.00/foot, the 350.00 to install doesn't include wire so I'm comparing. I'm letting them do the work because they will adjust the amps and everything, and they are also doing the alarm

5 bucks a foot gets pricey fast! I'd have them tell you what they need to do it, and then get it from Knu.

Yes it does,
From my understanding, there is a Bose amp behind each speaker, does that mean there is a grounding location there in which these amps are grounded?

I believe that the ground for the amps is through the harness, not right to the chassis.

The ground should be as short as possible and as large or larger then the feed wire. Member juice really flows backwards, why cars rust.

Just wanted to update my post, I took my car to a car audio shop and let them do the install, box building with amp rack and everything. Haven't got it back yet but seen pics of the nice box and rack they built, looks great, will post pics when I get it back
