Default c4 zr1 newbie got sent over here for questions

Hey all names Richard just got a job that will let me revive my dads zr1 and have all kinds of ideas on what to put in it. My most favored is an ls7 built motor with a t56 trans but open to many others also heard someone say an ls9? Also came up with the idea of maybe putting a naturally aspirated big block in with a carbon fiber hood with a hole for a blower. What kind of carnal sin and how ugly would that be? lol. Just hoping to get some cool ideas for what to do to the old mans car. Thanks to all for your input!

Nothing wrong with the motor in it. If its naturally aspirated why the hell would you cut a hole in the hood for blower???? Horribly ugly, maybe consider a hellcat...... Although that maybe just as ugly.

Not sure why you're posting in the OT section, post in the C4 specific forum.

Hi Richard,

How about a modern day cosmetic update based on the ZR1 theme....

Plasti-dip the Wheels Black, paint the Calipers Blue, and get some cool lookin' Stickers and Badges

Fair warning: before listening to anyone on a forum about what to do with your car, do the research and figure out what you have.

Here's the C-4 tech section - those guys can give you specifics on what you're asking.

You would take out a ZF and replace it with a T56? Or a working LT5 for anything else

It's your car, do what you want - but we don't want to hear about it until you learn not to speak gibberish.
