Default Best adjustable fuel pressure regular?

Sooner or later I'm going to be getting an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. I want the Walbro GSS340M in tank fuel pump, with this pump I would be able to support a much higher fuel pressure, but in order to get that I need an adjustable regulator.

Programming is not an issue, I can change that to take advantage of the effectively larger injectors. Would there be a problem with running 50-60 PSI of pressure? Which regulator would best allow me to do this?

I picked up the Holley unit from Jegs for about $80 or so. It's a sharp looking unit and has a thunbscrew on top to adjust. No tools needed.

I have the BBK unit. The screw hits on the plenumn so I can't adjust it until I get a shorter screw in there. If you get one, start out with a shorter screw or you will waste a set of plenumn gaskets replacing the screw like I did.

I have a hypertech but the max pressure I can get out of it is around 50psi. If you want higher pressure than that, you may have to do some fuel rail changes and route it back to a Paxton 4 port regulator or another one similar. Not sure the ones like we have on the fuel rails will be able to get much more pressure especially if all they do is replace the cap with an adjustable one like most. The only one that I know of that replaces the whole stock regulator and installs in the stock position is the Aeromotive. Not sure what the max pressure they can be adjusted to and you will have to modify the fuel rail covers or not use them in order to use the Aeromotive unit as it is a bit longer.

I bought the Holley, but after looking at it I changed my mind and used the TPIS piece. The Holley uses its own spring/diaphram assembly but the spring (different design) did not look as heavy duty as the stock one.

No regrets with the TPIS one thus far.

FYI - Although many use the Holley unit (I almost did as well), Holley will tell you they don't make one for the Corvette if you call them.

I'm running a accel 74565 in my 93 and it allows up to 70 psi on my rig......but i'm only running it at 44 at base idle for efficiency. No complaints and would recommend it......easy to install without taking off fuel runners........assuming your that handy.

If you require a HP pump for your C4, Racertonix has its C4 PnP fuel systems on sale which come with Walbro pumps.
