You're not going to like this one....

That antifreeze in your oil. That means a blown head gasket between the water jacket holes and the oil holes.

Yep, blown head gasket or intake gasket leak or cracked block. Check coolant level.

Also, sometimes,by a slight margin,it can be a leaky intake manifold seal allowing coolant to enter the block through the lifters area.Usually though,a bad head gasket is the cause.
Good Luck!

Could also be worse than just head gaskets. Ultimately there is failure berween the coolant system and the oil system. This can be caused from blown head gaskets to a cracked block or cylinder head. In rare cases there can be extensive errosion within one of the water passages allowing intrusion through the collant passage wall.
This could be a real doozie!

Be sure to be able to trust fully the person who performs the diagnosis.

Good Luck :cry

It could also be caused by many short trips in cold weather that don't allow the engine to come up to operating temperature.

It takes a while to build up but I have seen it happen.

I don't think short trips would do this. There is no way anti freeze should be anywhere near the oil, unless there is a breakdown between the two systems.

I do have to change my wifes oil to synthetic because she makes all short trips and there was a smell of gas on the oil. Her vehicle very rarely travels on long trips unless I take it. Synthetic will not mix with gas the way dino oil will.

Yes, head gasket is blown.
there are other ways but by the trouble you woudl have with a blown N2O injected stock short block, I would say head gaskets.

In your signature, you indicate you are running a supercharger at 10psi. Gee, I wonder how it blew the head gaskets?

Not anti-freeze but condensation. I'm not saying that's what it is but it is a possibility.

I would recommend trying an oil change first the see if the oil turns white again, and the oil level gets higher. Does the coolant have anything in it?

Might just be that engine is not getting hot enough from short trips or thermostat stuck open.

Try this: open your coolant pressure cap (with cool engine). It is located on the tank near your windshield at passenger side. Then start your car, let idle for 5 minutes and observe the coolant in the coolant tank. If there is lots of bubbles (exhaust gases in coolant circulation) there is a very good possibility that your head gasket is blown. Ideally there should not be any bubbles.

You could also see oil floating on top of coolant - another indication of the same problem.

Like somebody said condensation can also turn oil white. Seen that a lot with Porsche and VW aircooled engines and there is no coolant present at all.

Not good my friend. While I do rebuild & restore old tractors & I have seen the milky white condensation blowby on the filler tube & in the oil, etc. I would have to agree with the percentages here. You are running a modified engine with lots of stress (10psi) there, I would have to bet my bottom dollar, that you have a blown head gasket or worse to content with. While a blown head gasket sounds unbelievable & traumatic, if you respond quickly enough (coolant will eat away at your cylinder walls, etc) & drain, and flush your engine etc (SEE SCORPs 3 page problems right now)
you might be ok in a short amount of time. Follow the other great advice here, check that radiator for bubbling & oil at the top. If so, you are SOL & need to repair it. I am hoping that we are not dealing with a hole in cylinder wall, or cracked head or worse. Fingers crossed.

I wish you the best of luck, my friend.
Cheers
Andy

There's 2 ways the head gasket can blow where you could end up with antifreeze in the oil pan:

1) blow between the water jacket and oil passages from the block to the heads.
2) blow between the water jacket and the cylinder - I think you'd notice this one because you'd see a lot of white smoke out of the exhaust.

To tell if it's the blow to the cylinder, you can do a compression test to see which cylinder is really low compression.
Either way, the head is coming off.

Everyone's so quick to jump on the blown headgasket bandwagon. Well, since you're the one paying the bills, look for some cheaper causes. Mine was leaking from the intake seal to the lifter valley. here's a pic of my oil after letting everything settle for a few days.

Everyone here was quick to say "blown headgasket!", "definitely head gasket!" etc. I wonder how many of them actually blew a head gasket, and witnessed this oil condition.... and how many just 'heard' of this happening to someone else, or heard someone else suggest it.

I understand we are all trying to help here, but it can be misleading to the poor sap with the milky oil.
