What is the water temp of your car when cruising at 70mph? Mine is running between 195 to 200 when the outside temp is around 45 to 50. Fans kick on at 190 and boost at 200. The car is supposed to have a 160 T-Stat. Does this sound right?

My 396 is around 190-193 most of the time.

When it is cold outside, mine runs 166-173 and when it is hot out, it runs 170-185, peaking at 215 in stopped traffic with the air on.

Sounds like you have a 160 thermostat without the fans being programmed for it. I have my program kicking on both of my fans at 165.

Just replaced my thermostat. Avg is 172-180 F (winter in Florida)
Bear in mind, temperature gauges vary in accuracy
