L98 Throttle Body Sizes
What is the OEM size of the throttle bodies ( in MM) on the L98 engine.
What is the largest size of the throttle body that you can bolt on before you have to reprogram the ECM/PCM?
I rebuilt my engine and installed a larger cam and roller rockers and went 40K over in piston size. I'd like to give the engine a bit more air to breath.
Thanks in advance

48mm is the stock size. You really need a new intake and/or a bigger engine before youll really require a 52 or 58mm TB.

Realistically, you dont need one until go bigger than 350ci. A 383-396 might not even need a 52mm, but i think i would use a 52mm with both. 400ci + for the 58. The 58 flows 1000cfm, but the MAF sensor only flows around 750cfm with the screens removed and the fins removed, so once you got to the point of NEEDING 1000cfm, youd have to switch over to Speed Density anyway to flow that amount of air. I dont know of a 350 that even approaches that much need for air.
A 52mm I would use with a Miniram or Superram 350(tpis.com, lingenfelter.com) depending on cam choice, or a modded TPI (ported plenum, AS &M runners, tpis or Lingenfelter manifold) that had been stroked.
