Default how much power steering fluid

How much does the power steering system hold from sratch. I just replaced the pump and rack and pinion and need to no how much to put in. Also any special bleeding need to be done

I don't know what year your car is but here is stuff relevant to late C4's

Whenever I drained my system it took about a quart and a half to refill. If I were you I would buy three quarts.

You bleed the system by jacking up the front wheels and turning the steering back and forth a lot, I think the manual says like 30 cycles or something. Also, mine gulped a lot of fluid from the resivior when the motor was started and the pump started turning. This takes two people.
