Interpreting SMOG test results...
First of all it passed, no sweat.
I'm just wondering what the numbers are telling. These are the 25MPH numbers.
CO2% - 14.80
O2% - 0.20
HC(PPM) - 18 (avg - 13)
CO% - 0.01 (avg - .05)
NO(PPM) - 513 (This was the only number that was way above the average of 136)
Thanks,

Looks great to me. My NOx is about half as high as yours, but I'm in an area that just uses a tailpipe sniffer with an idling car in park.

Looks good overall. The high NO emissions indicate that you're running a little lean at the 25 mph load that they were testing at. However, for cruising around at a constant speed, that's fine. I'd be happy with that, especially the CO number.

Re: Interpreting SMOG test results... (CorvetteZ51Racer)
it was funny. One of the eco-freaks at work always harrasses me about driving a gas guzzling polluter (good naturedly, razzing). I challenged him to bring in his smog test on his 98 Honda Civic (75K miles)
Except for the NO reading, the Vette with 150K beat his "green" car :D He's been very quiet since.
