Where to buy a Walbro pump, and which one???
I've seen some posts about using a Walbro fuel pump.
Where is a good place to buy one?
I have a '92 LT1 with AFR heads and a Crane cam. Which model pump is best for this?
What are the differences between the stock pump and the Walbro?
Does anything have to be modified to install the Walbro?
Does the Walbro last as long as the stock pump?
Thanks

Racetronix (supporting vendor to the Forum) sells alot of Walbros to the Grand National crowd, I am sure they could help you out deciding which to get.
As for life expectency it's my understanding that the Walbro meets or exceeds OEM quality, and should last at least as long as the stocker if not longer. Don't know that you need an upgraded pump on a C4 though, they have pretty good stock pumps from what I've heard.

I am still running the stock pump if that matters. If its working, there most likely isn't a big reason for you to spend 250 dollars on an upgraded one.
The stocker pumps well, from my experience.

How long does the original pump last?
I now have 85K miles, I don't want to be left stranded -- I get nervous when I think about my C4 on a tow-truck hook.
I was just thinking about going to the Walbro if it is better in every way.
