ZR-1 Camber-brace at last!!!!
That's right!
Thanks to Shawnzr-1, there's a ZR-1 running around Atlanta with a Camber-brace. I'll let him provide you with the feedback. It is a very tight fit, but a clean one. We had to use differant material than the rest of the Camber-braces are made of, but we didn't sacrfice any performance.
I'll try to have the pricing and the web site updated by the week-end. I just wanted to let the ZR-1 owners know that I didn't forget you.
Thanks,
Dave Cooper

I am sure you will sell plenty of these ZR1 versions around here! My L98 version works great. Do you have any pics...I'm just curious to see what the differences are.

Cool! I saw how tight the fit would be and just about gave up! What is the new material, and roughly how much does the new camber brace weight?

Hmmm... let me put it this way:
:hurray: :hurray: :hurray: :hurray: :hurray: :D :D
What a difference! I got a chance this morning to push it through some nice twisties (my "test course") on my way to work. I'd estimate that 80% of the front end push is gone! Understeer is easily controlable and tracking is sooo much better! I didn't dare attempt to oversteer it because of curbs, but next week I'll be tracking it and I'll have a much better review then.
How much does it weigh? I don't know, we didn't measure, but I'd say less than 6 lbs. It's a rough guess because it's a 3-piece design and the three pieces weren't assembled outside the car. It's made from solid steel stock (the other braces are square tubular steel). After ~600 miles of driving, there was no evidence of torsion twisting or lateral bending. It's one solid piece!
If anyone in the area would like to take a look, drop me an IM and we'll get together.
I have some pictures of us installing it, but not a clear shot of the entire brace. I'll try to find a good shot of it tonight and post.
 to ya Dave! I think you have another winner on your hands! :yesnod:

I'm glad to see someone with a ZR-1 "ShawnZR-1" finally hooked up with Dave to get this camber-brace developed. The ZR-1 guys along with the L98/LT1/4 guys will love the way their car's corner with the C/B.

On the other brackets, there's been lots of thought, but no time. I'm going to need them for my racer, so they will get built. :yesnod:
