1996 Brake Pad Replacement
I need to replace the front and rear brake pads. Are raybestos okay? Any suggestions or recommendations would be helpful. Thanks!

Re: 1996 Brake Pad Replacement (dnkaspar)
Got them from Tire Rack for something like $75 front, $60 rear. Gentle on rotors, good stopping, easy cleaning dust.
Rears only lasted ~12K miles, fronts ~22K. Watch them close as the chirper doesn't make noise till too late.

i just got the regular PFC's for my daily driver. i don't often race, so i figured i didn't need the z-rated pads, which need a bit of warming up to grab better.

I still get the Ford Mustang Cobra pads. they are identical in compund to the Vette OEM pad and cost $47 a pair for the front.......

I use the EBC Green pads. I'm on my second season and they still look new. I run auto-x and 1 hight speed event and drag race all year and they stop great.

I've been more than "satisfied" with the PFC metalics. I drive it hard...but don't AutoX often.
