Lock-Up Switch...
I saw on the Mid America Site a lock-up switch for the 700R4. I put a 2400 stall converter in it and it kinda drives me nuts that it appears to "slip" when normal cruising(it really gets up and goes when in WOT and was told this was normal). Would installing this $29.99 switch cause it to feel "tighter" when driving it normaly? Has anyone installed it?
Thanks!!
Thanks!!

The switch will allow you to have control over the lockup of your converter. You will be able to prevent it from locking up. It will have no effect on the slipping feel of your stall converter.

There are two pins on the diagnostic port that you can jump out to cause it to lock up all the time except in first gear. I thought about adding a toggle switch to mine for that very reason.

If you buy a SPST switch at Radio Shack and wire it across ALDL pins A & F you can use that switch to cause lockup in all gears above 1st (no lockup possible in 1st gear).
