O2 sensor volts question
How do you read them? If the volts show 200? is that rich or lean. What end of the scale means rich and which means lean.

Re: O2 sensor volts question (88_vette)
Narrow band O2 sensors operate from 0 to 950mV. O = lean and 905 = rich.
When a car is running correctly the O2 sensor will vary from as less than 200mV to as high as 850mV if its steady at 800+ the engine is very rich and likewise at the other end of the scale it is indicating lean.
