help. i want to replace the bushings in the headlight motor. "complete instructions" were to be included with bushings, but they cover after you have removed the headlight motor from the car, and removed the gears from the motor. anybody know of a good source of instructions for removal and disassembly of the headlight motor? THANKS!!

this is for the early motors but you get the idea
it's pretty simple actually
disconnect the motor and unbolt the motor (not the bracket)
the you rotate the assemply so you can get at at a hidden bold that attaches the motor to the headlight cradle

I did mine last summer........a long hour per side............I took off the complete assembly and did it on the workbench. On the 1 to 10 scale mechanically I am a 4. This is an easy job with the right tools. I broke off a couple of rusty screws on the motor assembly and had to drill them out, but otherwise it was no problem and good therapy for me.........You can do it too! :thumbs:

^not alot of tools required
the screws come out with a phillips screwdriver
all the bolts are 10mm with the exception of two 13mm
