Default Whats my 1990's original rear differential gear ratio?

I had Dana 36 373 rear end gears put in a few years ago. I recently tore them up and I put the original gears back in. When I changed over to 373's I also had the speedo gears changed. Now that the original gears are back in I forgot to have the speedos changed and I have forgotten the ratio. Does anyone now the original gear ratio for a 1990 L98 differential. It did not come with the optional performance rear. Any help is appreciated!!! Thank you vettefast

Look under your center console lid for the RPO codes. 3.07 = G44, 2.73 = GU2, 2.59 = GM1 Its most likely 2.59, but the RPO code is the 100% accurate way to determine the stock ratio.

:iagree: Or it might be under the lid of the behind the seat storage compartments. If you have an auto, I'll bet on GM1 - 2.59 :yesnod:
