Banks Twin Turbo Kit for L98 and LT1 Vettes available...
The kit will include: turbochargers, pressure chamber kit, exhaust manifolds, wastegate kit, turbo oil supply kit and drain kit, boost tube and wastegate actuation kit, plumbing minus piping from turbos to intake. Relocation brackets and all associated hardware included as well. Intercooler optional. DFI system optional.
Broad Specifics:
Octane requirements are minimum 91.
Parts can be sold separately in the sub kits listed.
Compression ratio is best suited @ 8:5 to 1.
Compact serpintine drive belt setup.
Injector size should be 55lb/hr for the 600-800hp kit
A/R ratio of the housing can be : .81 , .96, 1.15 , 1.30 (the later one being the optimum choice to control boost)
600-800hp kit is a T4 w/standard bearing configuration. Compressor wheel is a high flow 60-1 and the turbine wheel is a P-trim.
Boost is requlated by the wastegates and can be adjusted by springs or an in-line boost controller. Instructions for both will be included.
No intercooler will be supplied with the 600-800hp kit. The overall design of the system is so efficient that the intake temps are low enough that an intercooler is not necessary. These intake temps will be similar in range on ALL 350's provided the system is set up as described.
A distributor based and crank position based ignition can be used.

:eek: If you need to throw one of those on an C4 for long term testing I'm willing to offer up my LT1 :jester Would you be able to post a price range or would you rather handle that through email to week out only those who are serious?

I think I'd take one, if the kit was complete with competent instructions, etc. Interesting to see how the price works out and what mods to the exhaust are necessary.
I also think a specific breakdown of "You will need to do this, this and this" will help people to know what they're getting into, and make me more liable to spend the cash on something like that.
Very attractive though, preliminarily speaking.

theres a thread on this in forced induction. the banks reps are saying its 5 to 6 months away from production? keep us posted nate, i hope its sooner.

There goes the ATI ProCharger plans for the 396... Why aren't the pipes from the turbos to the intake included? This thing looks bad-azz, that's for sure! :D

Piping from the turbos to the plenum/intake manifold are not part of the kit for now. This allows the kit to work in many custom installations and on many cars. I will help Banks with piping in this respect. Once I have the pipes made that work, I will reproduce them or send them to Banks to reproduce.
There is already a kit being installed on a C4 for testing. Will have more info as it is available.
Pricing is somewhat firm at 5995-6495.00. Depends on options really.
This kit makes me want to trade my 01 Z06 for a C4!!!

Tubular or log manifolds? That packaging really looks like it isn't going to fit under a stock hood. If it does I bet you'd need a shoehorn to get it in. :D
