Learning what OBD-II is all about: a great site!
After showing my ignorance about Corvettes with OBD-II, I determined to learn more about it. A search was made and http://www.obdii.com (sponsored by Auto-Tap) was discovered. Wow! What a wealth of topics and information! I've printed out a bunch of pages and my education has just begun. I urge anyone who has a '96 to visit this site. Or if you're in the dark like me, and you just want to get up to speed on OBD-II, this is a great place to start. :yesnod:

I'm a little confused. This site states cars 96 or newer have OBD II, mine is a 95 and a bunch of people on this forum have told me my 95 has OBD II not OBD I. Go figure.

I JUST RECEIVED A MANUAL FROM GORDON KILLEBREW THAT STATED THE 1994 CORVETTE WAS THE FIRST YEAR FOR THE OBD11

 I don't think so. 94 was the first year for the Reprogrammable ECM, and had a MAF, that replaced the speed density system with chips that I have. 1996 is the magic year for OBDII.
