Large Tube Runners - Which Is Better - AS&M or LPE/Accel?
http://azspeed.com/19latuinru1.html AS&M is $395
http://www.lingenfelter.com/lingenfe...=16&pf%5Fid=42 LPE/Accel is $469
The LPE/Accel seem quite substantial. Which flows better, and/or is better all around?

summit was dumping all the siamesed slp runners cheap a while ago, i bought a set for myself, maybe check into those as well, from what i remember they out performed the traditional style big tube runners :yesnod:

I thought I had heard that the AS&M runners flowed the best out of the box. The SLP units have the capability of flowing pretty well, but the casting is supposed to be very poor and they need to be cleaned up quite a bit to flow decently.

I hyave both AS&M and LPE/Accel runners, not SLP. The LPE runner were smoothed and port matched to an Accel SR base and stock plenum, everything ported by LPE as a complete unit. The LPE runners seem to have the same size runners as AS&M, they however are 1" shorter in length.
