Default How much vacuum for egr port on throttle body?

How much vacuum should there be at the port on the bottom of the throttle body. When I pull the line off and stick my finger over it there doesn't seem to be any. I just cleaned the throttle body, did i put something back together wrong. Car is a 1990 L98. thanks

Dont confuse vacuum with flow. When the volume to be evavuated is small, it doesnt take much actual flow to reach max vac. I am not say you have adequate flow. Put a vac gauge on it and see how long it takes to reach max. Hook asyringe to it and see how long it takes to retract the plunger.

Did you try reving the engine a little? That may be a ported vacuum that needs the butter flys open a little to show vacuum. If so your vacuum will vary
