Default C5 Brake Upgrade - Help need spacers

I have a 93 C4 with the stock wheels and want to do the C5 Brake upgrade but can't find the spacers so that the wheels will fit over the

Does anyone have a source for a 1/2" wheel spacer so these brakes will work with the stock wheels?

So you have "sawblades" right? The best source I've seen for spacers is MID AMERICA. $199 for a set of four, I know you only need two, but they come with a bag full of lug nuts and studs....... Try DRM, see if they'll sell you a pair...... Doesn't hurt to ask.

Thanks, at that price the C5 upgrade compares to buying Baer Eradispeed even though I like the C5 setup better.

Keep in mind you can gather the bits & pieces for the C5 stuff for under $500, most thru Superior Chevy as a forum member???

1 12530683 Reg C5 Caliper - LH $93.97 $93.97
1 10445857 C5 Rotor - LH $55.83 $55.83
1 10445856 C5 Rotor - RH $55.83 $55.83
2 12455799 Caliper Brkt - 2 required $28.56 $57.12
4 12530697 Caliper Guide Pin (4 reqd.) $3.69 $14.76
4 12530703 Caliper Guide Pin Seals (4 reqd.) $3.16 $12.64

1 88909667 C5 Ceramic Durastop Pads $79.30 $79.30
Subtotal $464.98
C5 Upgrade brackets (Ebay) $120.00

Total $783.98

If you have A-Mold wheels it is much cheaper.

I bought all the stuff for my C5 brake upgrade for $300 (not including the wheels which I was going to get anyways). If you look around and take your time, you can get killer deals.

The price for new calipers shouldn't run more than $80 each, I repeat, shouldn't. Rotors from "rockauto" are under $20 each. If you buy "reybestos" pads, they come with the hardware kit & rubber boots. So what if you don't like the pads, you'll need new ones eventually anyway right?

Just passing info along bro...........

I got these prices from Superior Chevrolet. Most post that I read say they have the best prices.

Any place else I should check for better deals?
