Default Proper Power Steering Fluid

Can someone with an owners manual tell me what type of power steering fluid to use in a 1985 Corvette and the capacity. Anyone know an easy way to change the fluid. I plan on jacking up the front end, removing the return hose, run a piece of tubing to an empty bottle, get as much out of the reservoir as possible, fill it with clean fluid and then turn the wheels back and forth until the fluid coming out is clean.

I used Valvoline synthetic power steering fluid and it took about a quart on my 86. I used the same method you described and it worked well.
