Both Penske and Koni make adjustable shocks for C4s. Niether are cheap. You are going to be best off with the Koni's or the QA1s....I would prefer the QA1s just for the fact that you don't have to remove the rear wheels to adjust them.

The QA1's are the best shock I have ever used. To have one shock that can give great performance on the track as well as the street and compromise eather.
Well worth the money and I to paid for mine.

Well the problem with any adjustable shock is that its not an 90/10 type setup. It would be like a 10/10 type shock. Im looking for one that is a true drag shocks that extends fast but takes like 70-90% to recompress.

Confession time. Im using summits 3 way drag shock. I think they go 50/50, 80/20 or 90/10. I measured the C4 shocks and ordered some listed for a Camaro the same size. Had to use the old grommets and hardware from the Vette shocks. Ive used the car daily like this with the 80/20 setting for 3 years. No problem. Dont tell anynody on the forum, they will come up with some reason you cant do this.

What year camaro did you order your adjustable drag shocks from summit for??? Im trying to figure out what car to order them for
Im sure HAL's are nice, but they are very overpriced compared to a true drag shock like lakewoods etc and they wont work as well because even on full soft they wont work like a 90/10....

Sent you an IM. You can probably get the 67-69 Camaro ones. I cant remember for sure. If it turns out to be the later ones Summit is real good about exchanges. Just make sure the upper mounting rubber is in good shape on your old ones. You have to use it.

I use some Competition Engineering drag shocks... They're true 3-way adjustable 90/10's on the front and 50/50 to 70/30 rear 3-way adj. I'll get the p/n if you want.

Sounds great, can you reply the part # for the fronts and for the rears? thanks much appreciated.
Spending $30-40 per TRUE drag adjustable drag shock, will work much better than a very high priced HAL QA1 style non-drag shock

I would like the PN too please.
My friend has a 68 Camaro and we put them in place on my 85 and they looked real close.

I got the competition engineerings for my 85
I just measured my shocks fully out and fully in and the connections on each end and ordered some comp eng shocks that were similar.
They bolted right in and set them up 90/10 front, 50/50 rear
I'll get the part #'s off the box tonight

Haven't tried any on the vette yet, but used the summit cheapie drag shocks on my '67 el. Absloutely zero complaints. And I'm picky....
