Default Couple of problems 91 L98

First one should be easy. How do I turn off the oil change light?
Second one the car seems to getting slower and has picked up a miss. When you step on the gas it takes off like a turd and stumbles a bit. What gives?? Bad gas?

Turn key to Run(Dont start engine)
Press ENG MET
Within 5 seconds press it again
Within 5 seconds press and hold the GAUGES button on the trip monitor.
the change oil light will flash

Hold the guages button until the change oil light stops flashing(About 10 seconds

Don't know I've only had the car a few months. Sounds like I should try that. The car ran great up to a few days ago. So I figured something might have broke.

If you don't know when it was done last, you need to do it. Plugs, wires, cap rotor, fuel filter, pcv.

As for the oil light, here is a tech tip on it:

Check:
-fuel pressure
-put a timing light onto each spark plug wire to see if the engine miss coincides with missed flashes
-check base timing with the EST connector open

Thanks Guys. I'll get on it this weekend. I'll keep you posted.
What is the base timing supposed to be set at?
Will this problem (the missing) be manginified if I run the A/C?
In Arizona we always drive with the A/C in the on and high position
