It's probably the exact same filter with a different color oil on it. K&N wouldn't sell their filter to Holley so Holley just went to the people who make the filter for K&N, hence the Holley Power Shot filter, exact same thing.

What he said,..... Don't waste your $ on Fram.

Did you see the K&N comparison at www.trueflow.com (top right box)
Open sell foam is the way to go. Too bad they don't make one for the C4.

Prolly just another K&N knock-off. The Holley Powershot, and Accell KoolBlue are all the same.

AMSOIL also makes an excellent foam air filter. Information on the filter can be found on their Products page under air filters.

I would just go with what came on the car you're better off that way.

Some of these people pushing certain filters and oils are dealers for that company just check their sigs. From my experience try to stay with what came on the car from the factory it will usually outlast others that have tried other grade of oils etc, take k&n type filters for example I've heard they let water by and the oil from the filter can be a pain.

The Fram Air Hog filter is actually a pretty nice filter..it's made by S&B..I've been to the factory..what I do like about them is the injection molded frame doesn't bleed into the filter media like the K&N does. and on the L98 filters the pleats run vertical to make the filter hold it's shape better...all that being said, I have a K&N on all my cars and have been very happy with them over the years on everything from my Corvettes to my Ford Powerstroke Diesel...

A K&N is going to outlast a paper filter by several years.

It doesnt let water by, and the oiling is only a problem if you douse it and put it in a MAF car without letting it dry.

Yes, it will outlast a paper filter by far I still don't know about k&n filtering ability though. I watched a video that compared 3 filters the k&n seemed to let more by than the paper.
