Default Need help removing battery

I cannot get the battery out on my 86. The problem I am running into is that I cannot get the bolt that holds the battery clamp to budge!!! I have tried spraying it with lubricant and kept trying again and again but the bolt will not turn! Any suggestions?

Try some PB Blast on the bolts,
Did you remove the side cover first,,, if not, try that, gives you better access to bolt...

The area under the battery tray can get water in there that is tossed up by the tires so there is a chance of that bolt rusting itself to the nut on the battery tray.

Remove the fender gill panel and you should easily be able to spray some penetrating oil on the nut and the threads of the bolt. Let it sit for a few hours and then twist the bolt about 1/8 turn counter clockwise and then back in a clockwise direction the same amount. Do this a few times increasing the amount you turn the bolt just a little. The bolt should work loose. Keep spraying on penetrant as you go and maybe let it sit for a few minutes between each time.

Hit the bolt with some PB Blaster; if that doesn't do it see if you have access to spray it from underneith.
