Diff between standard and severe duty VOV?

I ordered an evaporator mount severe duty variable orifice valve from www.acsource.com for my 87 that I converted to R134a AC.
They sent a confirmation of my order for the "condensor mount standard duty vov".
Well, that would not work...so I e-mailed them, told them I ordered the severe duty evap mount part. They emailed me back, saying they corrected the order and gave me a tracking number.
I recieved it today, but it came as a standard duty vov ( evap mount )...wrong part again!
I think I'll go ahead and use this one as opposed to getting an rma and waiting...bleh...
Anyone know what the performance difference will be?
