does your radio shut off when you open the door after shutting down the car - if not, take a second look at the switch. the switch may move around but it may not be working.

there is a computer responsible for turning off the courtesy lights. there could be problems with that. unfortunately, i don't know how to test that. sorry.

Yea, it is called the Delay Accessory Buss.

I can dig up info if the switch isn't the problem, but 99% of the time, it's the switch.

I'll go ahead and replace the switch. If I remove the switch should the lights go out and the radio turn off. The reason I ask is I removed the switch and the lights still stayed on. Plus the rear hatch release on the door sometime works and sometimes it doesn't.

After taking everything apart and testing just about every switch and relay there was we found and fixed the problem. It turned out to be the sensor in the drivers seat. I didn't even know there was one.

Well I haven't dug into the seat just yet I plan on doing that this weekend. The senor is located towards the front right side of the seat near the bolster. I'll give more details when I get them. We figured it out by noticing that every time we got out of the seat it would sometimes turn off. So when light was staying on after I was driving around I would just shift my weight around and the light would go off. My brother has located the switch but we haven't removed it just yet. Stay tuned.

As to what it does the only thing we can think of is that it's a Airbag senor of some sort.
