It would appear (to most people)like a standard C4-No badging, a little plain, etc, kind of spartan; Always liked cars like that.Looks like a regular 89 with a 6 speed and a different exhaust tip, it just hauls azz!

Default 88 Zr-1

I use to think I wanted a 89 ZR-1... now I want a 88 model !
From the coolant tube extensions to the narrow groove in the top of the plenum, to the coolant resevoir, the car is definatly different in design...
Got a vin ? I want to run a carfax on it...

Just kidding... the car is

What's really interesting is you see protype ZR-1 stuff, but never any LT1, LS1/2/6/7 items around.

Currently GM has a comapny that is contracted out to dispose of prototypes. They are required to show photo proof of the car being smashed in several different stages.

Those changes were implemented after the ZR-1 issues.

Cool! Thanks for the picts! The blue interior is neat, and it would be cool to see the digital dash go to 7,000 rpm. Glad there are people who rescued cars like that!

The interior is awsome in that car. That car is such a odd ball that it has had laid glass for the real quarters and the rear tires if I can remember are stamped with something since they were some of the first 315's GoodYear made. Mike Yeager has a 89 Blue/Blue car as well. I love that color combo. I got to look at the Pearl White/Red int car and Yeagers 89 car when they first came over when they were in their crushed state. Love those 89's.

You mean 8000K! The cool part is that the tach is ramped for peak power of the stock engine, so the highest part of the curve is roughly 6200 rpm, then it drops down - would make for a very easy way to know how to shift the stock engine!

Those seats look like Sport Seats in the prototype... I like those better than my ZR-1 seats... Just a bit more comfortable imho...

PS Rumor has it that another active suspension car has poped up. Sold by an ex GM engineers wife with clear title. Car was in AZ, went cheap.
