A little duck tape and super glue and it would be as good as new!

You could also hacksaw off the last two cylinders and make it into a V6!
You could call it a...(drum roll please)
a ZR .75

yeah I think he bought up all of the surplus blocks that were warrenty returns and were never fixed just had engine swaps

Warranty/test motors from GM. I highly doubt this one came from a production car.

Off hand I'd say it detonated at high rpms.
Looks like the crankshaft broke and #7 piston and rod came out through the bottom end. Piston #8 saw some extreme rod slap notching both sides of it's cylinder.
Must have made quite a boom when it went.
