Interesting. Was that a coupe or a convertible? I know the owner of one He owned that since new. When did you sell yours?

BBC installation into a C4 has been done. Not a bolt in, but doable. If you want a torque monster just put in gears into a ZR1, you will like it. I think the ZR1 will outshine the BBC easily, especially over 150. In a 69 120 feels fast.

sold it about 20 years ago .the whole car was not like a plain corvette ,two tops ,green painted red the motor is still in n.c. we raced ss for the factory back then .still have two cracked blocks. the front end was turned up just a little bit in the front ,dual clutches, americam mags no chrome under the side pipes, vents and no back cutouts ,different brakes ,different springs , at 55 mph 1300 rpm
3000 95 mph still have pictures of the car also have a 63 electric 6 foot corvette that was given to us when we were racing by gm. made by barry toy craft not many made . my dad was in nascar but i raced in a st. line

I'd put a certain LPE 540 convertible that we both know up against most 415s *without* the spray.. With spray, that 540 will walk over any ZR-1 sans the TTs and Fastlanes old car...

Brian - I'll take my chances - bottom line, you still gotta put the power to the ground. Spinning tires don't win races! Ask Tony how easy it is to get the power to the ground. 550-600 rwhp is the limit for street tires to actually hook 3rd/4th gear.

Now - beyond that - if a 540 cid BB couldn't whop a 415, if traction wasn't limited, it would be some POS big block methinks!

There is no replacement for displacement!

Default motors coming out

the 350 will be a pile of junk in a day or two , what intake to use with a bbc and what windshield wiper motor. it's a shame they put the rack in the way where a 871 does not fit. the wife said not to go through the hood with the blower . all the info would help a lot

It isn't easy .. but it sure is fun trying... It's a lot like your TT C5 I would imagine. I can pretty much break the rear tires loose at will in any gear at any speed (remember I also have a 3:73 gears which doesn't help) but I assure you the car still moves forward at an extreme rapid rate in the process..
