Inquiring 1995 Callaway Supernatural 490 ZR1
Hello
I am trying to figure out what a 1995 Callaway ZR1 Supernatrual 490 with Aero body is worth. It has 30,000 miles and is perfect condition.
No I am not the seller, I am looking at buying it, but I can not find anything to value it against.
Thanks
D

Do an advanced search for "supernatural" on the ZR1 forum. Not definitive, but then nothing really is when you are dealing with a limited production car like the ZR1 and then tweak it further to a sub type of which 19 exist. Condition, history & mileage matters, but the "want factor" is what really pushes the price. Just gotta decide if you can live without it (the money or the car).

I would look at what a 30k mile aerobody B2K would go for and use that as a start. Being newer and a Z might add $5k or so, or not. I'd think closer to $40k, maybe $45, would be a fair price, but what do I know. It all depends on if you want the Aero and the Supernatural or not.
I'd guess the aero with paint would cost you at least $10k, and then $10k for the engine work, plust the cost of a similar-condition ZR-1 would be the absolute most it would be worth. But mods depreciate too.
What color is the car?

I've no idea what the car actually sold for, but I'm not sure what would justify the $57k price now. I remember drooling over the pictures when it was for sale before, it was spotless.
I kind of preferred it before with the A-molds and rusty halfshafts.

I know the car very well, the org owner had the car shipped straight to Callaway in 1995 . It has all receipts and is very were documented. The Callaway rec was over $125,000. It does not have the Callaway leather or center exhaust. It does have the Callaway "D" exhaust and the Coilovers. 18" OZ Wheels

The 490 was like $20k, the aerobody probably 10-15, coilovers 2-3, wheels maybe like 4k? Even if it did have the full leather interior I believe that was only about 8k. I don't see how on earth it could price all the way up to $125k of Callaway work. If it were blue and had two blowers on there then maybe...

Awesome looking car! Right color too! Too bad I'm temporarily out of room. Would think 95 would bring normal difference more between 90 and 95 ZR-1's + value added for Callaway 490 and areobody. Still would like to try ZR-1 before going on to Z06 cars!

Just to give you an idea on the options the car has the Callaway interior is 15k the coilovers 4.6k the rollbar 5k the exhaust at least 2k the callaway motor package Iam not sure of . corvette mike has one listed somewhere around 60k. one recently sold for over 45k .Like I said it depends on option and that car sounds loaded not to many of those around.Does it have the Brembo brake package?

Vicious:
IMHO, you will not be able to really put much of a price on these cars - they are too rare, few and far between.
I know of a car similar (but a 1990) w/ the wheel options, AeroBody, etc. and when the owner tossed the idea around on selling, he wanted to start the conversation at $85k

I would like to see the receipt and see how much the vaseline cost.
