Nice Benz, good luck on the sale/trade....having previously owned an AAR 'cuda, I'm curious as to the variety of yours.

Thanks, well I currently have this '69 Camaro RS,SS,Z-28, Hugger Orange, houndstooth deluxe interior, Munci 4 spped, 12 blot rear.

I like this shot I took

I also have a '70 (not an AAR) but originally a 440 4 barell (U Code) now has a R
ay Barton 528 Hemi, with a 1250 CFM throttle body connected to a EFI system that I run Gen7 Accel software froma laptop onbpard while I drive. Very streetable. Has Hemi 4 speed, Dana 60 with 3:54's, Plum Crazy paint, real shaker hood.

Also have a '68 Charger I am restoring now

I bought the Benz, which by the way is a great luxury vehicle with power, but would prefer trying a ZR1

Greg

Maybe Vader (Demps) would be interested. He has 5 '95 ZR1's.

How about it Vader?

Cheers,
Rat

Don't have room for another car. Need to get rid of the purple one. I did talk to Greg a while back but not interested in a trade. Vader

Would you be interested in a '91 Red/Black in trade for the '70 Cuda?

Well, I had my own business for 16 years. CNC machine shop. Have since retired from that. I am 43 years old (todays my b-day) and I bought my muscle cars back BEFORE the craze took over. In other words, when price was not an issue. I did have an all original 17k mile 1970 LS6 Chevelle, had protecto plate, buildsheet, all numbers except block was not. Sold that last year along with a '70 SuperBee that I restored back. I have always enjoyed muscle cars and they have been a part of my life.

I will most likely regret selling or trading it. It is really a fine piece of German engineering that handles, and performs, as good as it looks. It was reviewed when new and it stated it was THE statement car. I would have to agree with that. I bought it as my middle age I have arrived car. It does get noticed. The 12 cylinders push out a bunch of lower end touque that will impress any ZR1 owner. It accelerates like a jet, just keep going. Not sure what the top speed is? Never opened it fully. Have not looked up that spec either. I first noticd how much it impresses the opposite sex. I thought any of my muscle cars would have done that but this car makes a much different statement. The hard top can be taken off and and the soft-top is remotely controlled. The interior has the luxury treatments one would expect from a 130k car.

I had a '93 tripple black vette, six speed, that I let go years ago. Also had a '84 Vette, looked great but handled like a tank. I have always wanted a ZR1.

Thanks. I have lowered the herd to only a select few. Too many cars before and did not take the time, nor had the time, to enjoy them all.

That cuda made it in Car Craft, Oct. '99, and also Mopar Muscle, Mopar Collectors Guide, and others. It has been completely restored on a rotessorie and has had many new NOS parts used during the restoration. Today this car would bring six figures. I have turned plenty of offers for it. I have had it for quite a while and plan on owning it for quite some time.

My MB SL600 is worth somewhere between 38-44k depending on who you ask and what you use to look up fair market value. The same can be said for a nice well taken care of ZR1, 94-95 model years. Some may be less in value some may be more based on what I have seen and read. I think it is a very fair trade IMO.

Exactly. Just recently have decided to move on it for buying / trading for a ZR1. I have listed it on a MB forum. Much like a ZR1, does not sell over night. I need to spend the time marketing it out there on various sites. In the mean while I thought it may perk the interest from a ZR1 owner here. In fact, one person has emailed me and was interested but sold his ZR1 last week. It was that RED/RED '95 ZR1 in fact. This board helped him and the buyer out. Word does get out there, so I figure why not try this out. It may expedite my goals. You never know.

Very nice Cuda, I love that color. OK, I'll trade you, plus $20K
