Thanks for doing this... It is a PITA to bring up another window and then cut/paste the # in the search window of ebay. It makes it a lot easier to simply "click".

I wasn't criticizing your post. You're probably correct @ $49,999. I was looking for a big block 1965 or 1966 Coupe for two years before I purchased the 93 Z. The price more than doubled in that time frame. Took me out of that market fast. Now the 1965 and 66 small blocks are in the $40-50,000 range.
Just doesn't seem right that these Z's are selling so cheap. Once you own one you realize how special these cars are. It's just a matter of time before others do to.
IMHO.

At least this way the post does not get deleted right away by the admins.

Wonder if it was stored on jackstands, look at the gaps on the body/tires, as if the suspension hasnt settled. Gorgeous car, but IMO garage art, thats it. Is be too tempted to drive the heck out of it.
Ditto on the mudflaps, why drill holes in the body so the flaps can protect a body with holes drilled in it.

Purple is not my color anyway. I've seen them in person and they don't really grab you like Torch Red.
I wouldn't have the heart to put miles on that one.

I think a car like this one is the major factor why ZR-1 values remain flat.
Unlike most big-block mid year cars that were driven hard over the years - - thus needing to be restored (BIG Bucks to invest) or having been restored (BIG Bucks to buy) - - the ZR-1 world is full of low-mile/in the wrapper/NCRS Top-Flight ready examples.
This car along with maybe hundreds of ZR-1s just like it, was purchased to sit and not to drive. That makes for a large supply of prime cars being available to a small collector market.
Good news is that keeps the ZR-1 within the reach of those of us who would rather them!

You guys are missing the point! This is a 95 corvette and the bidding is already over 40K U.S.!! That shows that this car, even though old, and less powerful than a lot of newer choices on the market, is commanding a pretty penny. You won't get 40K for a modded C5 Z06 let alone a bone stock one. And in about 5 years, you won't get that much for a C6 Z06. The ZR-1 is already holding its own.
