It ran 10.6 in '04..one pass got rained out...In '05 it ran 6 low 10 second passes..best et 10.2 best mph 136.

Its my dads car now....Big heads...427...will be quite a bit faster next time out.

We have a little competetion going on now...my '07 Z06 427 vs his '91 LT5 427..

My Z06 just trapped 130.78 @5800feet...DA was 8000ft...I think in current config I have a chance at trapping 140 at sea level.

Z06 mods...cam, Kooks, Aircharger, HP tuners tuned by me. Oh yeah 17" M&Hs that just took out my clutch.

Hey Thanks....the configuration has changed quite a bit from the mag. article...Will be a lot more powerfull for my Dad.. I think the car had 9s with a good tranny and the old setup. Im exited to race "HOUDINI" vs "MERLIN" in front of the shop soon.

Got some parts UPS on Friday from Greg Vandeventer......NICE!!!

I'll post some new pics soon. Its a good thing its an auto-my dad broke his leg real bad on thursday.

Kevin Shaw says at the end of that article "One thing is for sure, Rod DeWild's '91 ZR1 eats muscle cars with a knife and fork." Keep eating Rod and its ok if you use your hands. I hope your father heals up fast.

Yes he has multiple fractures, they had to put in titanium plates in his leg....2 plates on one bone, 1 plate on the other bone.

He is doing great, 1 day after surgery he was back at the shop....

He has been sitting there next to the 427LT5 with his foot up on the bench...staring at the engine--Id imagine if it could be brought into his bedroom hed probably sleep next to it too.
