I'd love to do that! Freaking 15.5" rotors ought to reign in my C4 Z with plenty of ease!

A 15.5" rotor will fit under 17's, right? Maybe not with a caliper, but at car shows I could put a vinyl sticker of a caliper on the rotor.

I've got my 19" rims ready and waiting, I'll bet even the factory stuff is pretty pricey!! they look great and likely stick like grim death.

Parts for the ZR1 s/b out before the car actually hits--so we'll probably see the parts available fairly soon.

I'm gonna guess $5500ish for the setup (?)

15.5 brakes that are lighter than what I have would be awesome

l like that idea alot. probably the rear brakes would be the tough part of the upgrade, I'll need the backs too!!

Add $10,000 for a 4 wheel setup and you'd be close... and you would need larger wheels in addition.

Porsche charges $8k for a ceramic setup. My buddy bought a set on special for $6k for his GT3 (SS National Champ car, BTW).
You really think Chevy's gonna charge $15k+?

I'll stick w/ my guns & say $6k ish through one of the forum dealers once the hype dies down...

Why put the sticker on it when you can baffle em with your secret techno braking system ?! It will be fun to watch em get real close to the wheels while looking for the missing calipers...

But OTOH if you're going to pop $30k+ for a 4XX LT5, what's another $10K or so for stoppers to match?

Aren't these the same brakes on the Bugatti Veyron? And of the same design, but larger diameter than the Ferrari Enzo. Yes, I think this brake setup will be in excess of 10-15k....

I'm curious - is the set for your Buddy 15.5" Front and 15" Rear rotors?

I'll stick with my $4,400 6 piston BAER Calipers and BAER Eradispeed 2 piece rotors

I'll wine and dine women and drink alot of beer with $15,000

and they say the pads should last the life of the average car. A small price to pay for never having to change pads.
