is the transmission different for the 95 model zr1's than the other years? or is the shifter handle different? i've seen pictures of the interior of some 95 models and the shifter looks different. any help answering this question would help me out greatly.

The lift ring for reverse was removed and it's a referred to as a "crash-thru" for reverse. '95 is the first year of the production "blue-tag" transmissions.

thanks for your help i thought the shifter looked different. i like the newer shifter better.
