I understand that in 1992 you could order a Callaway with an AreoBody & 1 3/4" long tube Jetson Headers ...
It wasn't an option with the Aero Body in 1992...

It was option with the Astro Body offering in 1993....

If I remember correctly it was featured on a CF cover in late 1993 or early 1994....

Beautiful Polo Green with 18" chrome "A Mold" Elroy mags...

Now, how much plasma would I have to give to get this thing...

I am not claiming that I know a lot about Callaways and this isn't to join in on whether this is a real one, fake one, clone, or whatever. I will say this. I used to be a member of ETCC and was President back in the day. I still have a lot of friends in the club and usually do a car show or cruise with them once a year. Saying that, I never knew this car existed in Knoxville. However, there are some car guys with some serious coin in this little town. I looked up the owner through public tax records and trust me, he could afford this car.

I dont know the guy...but I wish I did. I would so sell my ZR-1 and '94 for this car. I could care less if its #1 or 2 or 3 or 4 or whatever. As long as it's a real Callaway.

Tims94,

Thanks for the compliment on my Red CR1 #10. It is the featured Corvette on the cover of this September 08 CorvetteFever Mag. The photos were taken last August at Carlisle for the Callaway Reunion. It seems the Callaway CR1's are getting a greater interest.

Cheers,
