Corey Say send Him one as soon as you can, we have to get the cars in the trailer and begin packing in 30-40 days.

This would be fantastic, we're running 8200-8500 rpm and the OEM runs in batch fire above 4400 rpm. And the thought of seeing data on the top end would be just the ticket. The density altitude is about 5500' in August.

please proceed with Corey Let me know what you can do.

Dave.

Oh I said Cars, yes R & D Landspeed Racing ( Rick and Dave) are taking two cars to the salt, for our Racing to Heal Fundraiser.
more data , and a picture of the other car to follow but for right now lets just say its a C4 and its wicked fast.

Oh and I would like to thank Jerrys Gaskets for their support in our efforts.

I just sent the boy's at Mega Squirt an email requesting a unit right away. I'll let you know how quick we can turn one.

Cheers,
Ron

.

The valve opening time above that makes sequential fuel useless. It eats processor time and gains nothing in the end. Go with the batch and use the extra processor time for on the fly fuel flow tied to wideband units on each side. Fastlane used a wideband on each cyl when he was racing his car and a Motec computer, Also used a Jerico.

I am most interested in recording data above 5500. We're pretty much down to reading plugs with the stock computer. It's a 2.5 min wide open throttle application. Our gear ratios are close enough that we're always above 6000 rpm on shifts above 8300 rpm. It's one thing to make power down in the flat lands on the dyno. but on the salt the density altitude can range from 4400-8000 feet.

car looks fantastic!

love to hear more about the megasquirt this is the perfect application and the WOT data logging and tuning is amazing

I'm interested in installing the megasquirt to control only the secondary injectors and also going to a coil on plug

I'll have to give corey and ron a call. the plug and play setup they have developed is amazing.

That is so close. Is 230.545 still the current record? Either way that's incredible.

This is from an earlier run with wet salt, after a rain. 229 mph. I rolled on to the throttle and short shifted 1 and second as traction was limited. if you watch the mountain at the edge of the window you will see how much the car moves around at the 3 mile. Change the setting to 720HD and you can read the GPS

Shifter sure looks slick, my interior looks just like that LOL, car seemed very straight, not much steering input

its like driving on hard packed snow, but reaction times are too slow at those speeds if you to do much more than nudge it back toward the track, your going to spin as you will most likely set up the C4 shuffle, you know it , first one way then the next and then round and round you go :-)

I am wondering how the Mega Squirt system worked as Corey is working on getting it installed in my 90 twin turbo Raptor project. I'm hoping it worked well for you.

Ron , we did not run the Mega Squirt, just Did not have the time to work it out before the runs.

I hope to try it with next years build, where we hope to equate $ in to HP.

Ok its next year, and the motors about to go back on the dyno, with new profiled cams to make power up to 9500 rpm, ( we flattened off between 8000-8500 on the stock cams) also a bump in compression to over 15:1

Wish us luck and come see us at speedweek 2015 as the ZR1 is about to be King of the salt. all we need is 1/2 mile per hour improvement from last year to set a new record.

Dave
